The CG is an old housing area.. Your GPS will show streets that are not there so be sure that you set it for Hermes Rd and Nike St SW (entrance to rv park). Some GSP (like mine) will take you to roads that don't go through any more. Lets look at all the good things first. LARGE level concrete sites, will fit the biggest rigs out there. All 50amp with water and sewer. All crush and run gravel roads through out the cg, but all packed hard. Easy to travel through out with handicap scooter. Great shot at the southern sky. Px and Commissary with-in 1/2 mile from cg. Sites 1 thru 14 were not thought out well, hook-ups are just to far forward on pads, engineers just need to come back and re-do this. I suggest using sites 15 and above. Now this MWR must think its Club Med too, $20.00 per night for what. Small bath house, paid laundry, no cable, no wi-fi (but they say wi-fi is coming). Its all so new, but for the price I would expect allot more. The CG at the rocket center is the same price but offers allot more. I would hope they look at some of the premier military sites that give allot more and charge allot less.

Came back to Fort Benning for my 30th and my Father's 60th Reunions... Stayed a week. Absolutely magnificent and clean. Well maintained sites. Great boat launch. Fishing is good. Cabins are clean and well kept. All sites are as level as can be with asphalt. Pull throughs and back-ins. We stayed in back-in, extremely level. First place we have stayed at that wi-fi was available but NO FREE Wi-Fi.. It will cost.... The cable tv needs some work too...it had allot of snow but they are getting it fixed, repair crews were there upon our departure. No problems getting a great shoot at the southern sky for sats... I would come back.

I agree with comments left on previous. In addition to all mentioned. The wi/fi connection was great for us. We were directly on the lake front (facing lake) beautiful sunsets!!! Fishing was good too. Big thing to remember there is no site waste dump. Be prepared to move as needed or have your bucket. I can't say more than has been said before but I would return. I agree with the markets!!! But with multiple tours in other countries I can wheel and deal with the best.

Nice clean CG. Although it says no reservation, we called in advance and made some. Stayed on site 18. Great wi-fi reception and satellite locked in immediately. Well maintained areas. Upon arrival the sounds of FREEDOM were flying overhead. Clean rest room and laundry. Paul was extremely helpful with things to see in the area. Although our stay was short (due to health issues) we would return.

Over all great place. BUT!! The first impression is always the lasting one. When checking in the office upon arrival the women that greeted us in the office was less than helpful almost to the point of being rude. She seemed to have basically NO knowledge of whats going on in the CG. The reception was very COLD and inhospitable. Had thoughts of leaving. Glad we didn't!! After picking our site, met CG host (Doug) very upbeat, knowledgeable, friendly and apologetic for our reception. Ruth was great with all our questions. Larry, CG manager has great ideas for CG and with a bit of money can transform the CG into the Army's "PRIMER" CG. I agree with all the accolades posted before me. Great place, although the lake levels are down still due to the drought but fishing was still great!! Good cell reception, fifty cent laundry, free firewood stacked around central areas of sites (when available). Satellite reception great from our site, wi-fi only at office. Beautiful Log cabin rental too. Would return again and again.

I agree with all the positive comments from the previous reviews. I agree it is a bit far from Moody, but Wal-mart and Sams club about 10 miles away...Ok country miles. FAM Camp needs to put some money into this area. They are spending tens of thousands on FEMA trailers (single wides) for rentals. The campground needs to improve an the roads in the camp ground area. We stayed at the pavilion area over looking the lake ..Beautiful views. Great fishing too.!! The host was superb, met us and helped us to the temp, site. TV reception is good, providing you have a HD/Digital tv antenna..good sat. signal from our area, clear shot at the southern ski, but not all sites and temp area are like that. Wi/fi connected great..Strong signal and no problems..Over-all great place.I would come back.. Moody needs to look at this treasure chest that they have here and just put some new money into the CG and it would go to five star fast. Just a bit more money!!! Something for practical hook up and some road improvements around the sites would do wonders.

Great place. Robert met us as soon as we pulled in. The welcome was pleasant. He gave us an information/welcome packet with our name on the front cover. Very personal. Well maintained. Clean rest rooms, level sites, cable tv, satellite reception great. We are staying in site C7, (handicap). Concrete sidewalks to rest rooms (very clean) and free laundry rm. The talk is.. they may expand, is enough room for expansion, some time in the future, so they say. One major down fall is the large gravel on the roadways. Very hard to ride my small handicap scooter. Great place, would come back. Strongly recommend to make reservations well in advance

The United States Coast Guard should be very proud of their small part of Heaven. Excellent level concrete pads. Hanger Stayed in site 6 with our 38' Coach had more than enough room. Site 5 could accommodate a 45' or larger. Hanger 7 (club/grill) great food Chief Myers runs a great grill and makes great food. As others have said the BX is small but has allot. Excellent boat ramps and fishing dock with bench seats for us that don't like to stand long. Outer banks area and Kitty Hawk just a hour away. Nice drive. I would return again and again.

Live about two hours from Bragg. Stopped at CG to decide if we wanted to stay for the next Special Ops Grad. We will absolutely PASS! With the MILLIONS poured into Fort Bragg, the installation should be ashamed of what they call a CG. Hope you can get in over the RR tracks with you big rig without damage. Heavy dust from dirt roads, low tree limbs may cause a problem. Being stationed here for over 12 years, (back in the 80's) I would recommend that they start all over and put a new CG some where north of Spring Lake area. I am embarrassed to see a facility like this one on a military installation
