The road to the campground is now paved as well as the campsites themselves. They are building a new bath house/laundry and it looks like it's almost complete. Verizon cell phone worked well. Verizon aircard also worked well, though I use an amp and external antennae so I'm not sure how it would be with a plain aircard. Overall a decent campground with plenty to do.

We spent a week at the campground in the dry camping area. Dry camping is $10 a night and electric hookup (no water/sewer) is $20 a night. The electric sites are well maintained and located next to the new showers. The dry camping spots could use a little work as some of the picnic tables are in pretty bad shape and there are numerous pot holes as you drive through the campground. Verizon cell phone works fair but the Verizon aircard is excellent with fast speeds. They do have a brand new dump station and fresh water is available at the showers. Overall a pretty decent alternative to the $30-40 campgrounds in Valdez although for that you get elec/sewer/cable.

Nice Campground. We stayed in a water/electric site and actually preferred it over the w/e/s sites since it was a bigger site with a lot more privacy/room. They have a trailer that has movies (mostly vhs) you can borrow and paperbacks for trade. Verizon wireless internet worked great and the BX and Commissary are new and plenty big. A real bargain at $10.

Nice little campground with clean bathrooms and nice showers. The post has a lot of historical buildings and a nice museum with a self guided walking/driving tour. We stayed before the water was turned on and paid $10 per night. Verizon cell and Aircard worked fine.

Nice clean park with most sites having a concrete pad and all having a BBQ grill and picnic table. Verizon aircard works great along with the cell phone. We could get 4 or 5 TV channels with the crank-up antennae. The weekly rate is $84.

This is a great campground, convenient to I-75 that we use quite often when leaving Florida. It has two nice lakes with a 3 mile trail around Grassy Pond Lake and a playground for the kids. The office has a very small store with basic items and they sell annual GA fishing licenses as well as 1 & 7 day licenses. Our verizon air card worked great and we picked up about 5 stations with the crank-up antenna. Overall a great place to stop.
