Just an update. Still a great place to camp if visiting NY city. But the rates have gone up this year, 2013, to 25.00 a nite. Not worth the increase. Has gone up 15.00 over the last 6 years. They say to cover the cost of electric they need higher rates. What a lame excuse.

Still a great rv park. Clean, well maintained grounds and facilities. Now take reservations online, 800#, or by calling park office. WiFi, laundry, cable are great. Close to Keesler AFB and its exchange and commissary. On base exchange and commissary are smaller but have all the basics. New gas station/minimart are being built, but old facility is fine. Just a real nice park.

Nice campground located close to ocean and banana river. No cable but antenna reception is good for all the local channels. No wifi unless you go to laundry facility and hook up. Nice laundry and showers. Rates are different than posted here. No weekly rates. Monthly is 470 for full hookup, 440 for partial. 18 a day for full, 17 for partial, 15 for overflow w/electric. Will definitely return.

Nice location that is convenient to on base and off base shopping. Rv park seems to be in an electronic dead zone because of all the electronic and radar devices on base. Even antenna tv reception is very poor. Free laundry and clean showers and restrooms. Still a few homesteaders. Don't know how they swing that being there are length of stay rules. A convenient stopover point, but that's about it.

Just a great little park. Newer than most parks. The sites are very large with lots of space in between rigs. Great amenities. Great staff who go out of their way to accommodate guests. .75 to wash/dry. Free wifi, nice cable tv channel selection. A few homesteaders, but mostly snowbirds or full-timers. Plenty of shopping, nice exchange and commissary on base, but bigger facilities at Keesler AFB just 12 miles east. This is a gem of a park. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for the month. Convenient location to downtown. Great rv park. No wifi. Lots of room between sites. Laundry is .75 to wash and dry. Nice restrooms and showers. Office is organized and also sells a few rv necessities. Roads on base are awful. Lots of construction, but not on the roads. Nice exchange and commissary. Will return if in the area.

Campground is at a great location. Convenient to shopping on base and off. Rated lower for cleanliness and amenities compared to other parks. No camp host at this park. Everything is handled through the office. Great tv reception with antenna. Wind..Wind... and more wind. Great temps but the wind is almost constant. Wifi is hit and miss. Its okay in the community room. Would stay again.

Great park. Staff is very customer friendly. Great upkeep of all the facilities. Only negative, very erratic wifi and cable on west end of park. New park manager who is super. A breath of fresh air. Has made a few much needed improvements and has a lot more planned. Front row sites are now $20 a day but you can reserve the front row waterfront. Definitely a top military rv park.
