I have been using this RV park for 6 years plus, and i have never wrote and comment about it. I just want to say that the welcome aboard staff at the check-in office are a outstanding group of people, and that the camp host is one of the best in the business. Thank you. However the grounds it self are so dis-organized that it can be confusing. Site are so spread out,and some are really close, and the park lets you store any and everything on your site, that it overflows onto other sites. Kids, dogs, run wide, quite times are NEVER enforced. This place could be one heck of a rv park if only there were uniformity here and that the rules were carried out. Fines need to be placed on people that let there dogs run wild and also not cleaning up after them. The sites need to be cleaned up and all the trash that rvers collect on their site needs to be discarded,in other words the mind-set of the people that live or visits short stay needs cleaning up as enforcing the rule, have better security. The bath houses are usually cleaned cleaned twice, which it should be,but once they are the pits, because of the people not cleaning up,and allowing their kids to use the place as a play area. I know this will take time, and a effort by all. 50 amps electric would be nice.

This is one nice RV park. This was my first visit here, and it will not be the last. The staff are true professionals, and helped me out during my visit.I would like to thank Leslie for her assistance and friendly welcome aboard meeting. I believe this park could be number if the facilities were upgraded. The park needs some find of club house. This park is number one in patrons friendliness,ie,happy hour everyday by the guest makes your visit even better. Most parks (Kings Bay) are loaded with snowbirds, and you as a guest feel like a outsider and not welcome. Everyone is treated equally, and fair, and this my fellow RVers is the reason that i will be back,Thank You Patrick Air Force Base,Ray Wyatt, retired USN

I have been to this RV park more than all of the other military parks, because of the high standards. However on this stay there was several washers/dryers broken and not slated for repair. I have on several visits inquired about lake front site only to be told that they are filled. This park is one big click, with snow birds taking all of the really nice spots, which in turns leaves people who want to stay for a shorter period left out in the cold. Mayport Naval Base had this problem and they went to a system that is fair to all, not just the snow birds. Clicks are nice, but not on the naval base, which should be equal for all.

This is my fourth time visiting this park. This park is so clean that you can eat off of your site, because the cement pads and the grassy areas are spotless. The staff (Charlie & Missy) are true professions and they keep a tight ship. Because of them, is the reason this RV Park is #1 in the fleet, thank you, Retired USN

To my fellow shipmates, this is the place to be. This park is rated #1 by the navy and when you arrive, and met the staff, you will know why. This is realy a great place to be, and there is alot to do in the area. Have a great time here, w.ray wyatt(ret)USN

I gave the Rv park ground short notice for a reservation, and they were able to provide me with a spot, and i thanked them. I did ask if i would have a view of the river, and her response was yes. The day i arrived to check in ,i was greeted by a lady named Jean, and assigned a spot. I was not given a welcome aboard package,or told anything about the area.I had to ask for everything,my package, information about the area. She seemed like she wanted to be some place else. I went to my assigned spot, and what was i greeted by, two ball parks, I had to back into my spot, which is fine. I was assisted by the host named Ed(nice guy). The sewer connection was located about 20' from my rig and ran up hill. Needless to say,it was unusable, but i was charged for it!!!! The problem with this park is,if you are not assigned to the front row or close by,you have no view. In order to get those spots, you have to be in the click, like most military rv parks are. Do not expect anything from this place,if you are not in the know(click).I will say Ed and Woody were very helpful,in answering my question, about the area. However Jean, all she wanted to do was sell her little, worthless, junk,on Saturday mornings at the parks little get together. Must be some kind of get together for the click at the park. By the way,i left a day early, and on the way out i used the common dump station. W.Ray Wyatt USN Retired STSCS(SS)
