Great, clean little camp. Hosts, Jim & Judi, are extremely friendly and helpful; have installed their own personal router so there is NOW wifi in the snack bar area and lower areas of camp. Not a fam camp, so there are no laundry facilities, but everything else made this spot a serene, comfortable stay.

Kirtland's fam camp is a neat, clean little setup with some gravel and some paved sites. The grounds were immaculate and the landscapting very nice with the roses blooming. We had to park in overflow the first night because they absolutely will NOT take a reservation, but we were first on the list to move the next morning. Only a one stall bath and one shower each for male & female, but they were clean and we never had to wait to get in. Lots of washers & dryers & we did need to use those. Staffer, Janet, was most helpful and gave us all the directions we needed and we had a great visit in the area. Sure would like to have WIFI, but we found a restaurant with free access not too far away.

We had a brief, but very enjoyable stay at this fam camp. It is located right on the shores of Lake Nasworth with paved walkways and several benches to enjoy the view. Our site was paved, had nice shade and the staff was extremely cordial. We had one little blip on the radar: when we were packing up to leave, I brought in a plastic crate stored under the trailer. My wife asked me to please remove the crate and the snake that was entwined in the grids. It was only a "baby" snake; identified by another camper as a rattlesnake. Hey, good side of the story is that it didn't get loose in the trailer. Otherwise, that would have been the end of our trip and it was our first stop on a four-month excursion to Alaska! Sure would be nice to have WIFI available.
