Although the park was very crowded and the waiting list to get into full hook ups is about 3 weeks, it was worth staying for just one night. A place that you would definitely want to get back to at a different time. The duty host was very nice.

Great Park, great people, great coffee. Beautiful site, yo can just sit there and watch the ships go in and out. The staff is just great except for one of hosts who seems to be pissed off at the world and lets you know it, not the friendly kind at all (not Art). Would definitely come back during spring or summer.

Great RV park all around, PX, Commissary, Golf Club all within five minutes. Loved listening to the privates going by in the early mornings on Fridays and Saturdays, and the sound of the rifle ranges throughout the week. Very clean facilities. Had a bit of problem with Verizon WiFi but phone worked real well. The only problem I experienced is the fact that there hardly any food facilities open during the evenings so therefore yo have to go outside the gate. The only place open until 2200 is the Subway at the bowling alley and sometimes they do close early depending on business. Will definitely return.

Very nice and friendly campground. Exchange and Commissary are within 5 minutes. "Doc" was a great host and helped out when questions needed to be answered. The lady at the ITT office was very cordial and also helpful in obtaining tickets and information about the Charleston area. There is a VA Clinic and Navy clinic collocated within 5 minutes of the campground. I was able to get my flu shot at the VA clinic without any problems whatsoever. Shower/bathrooms/laundry room maintained very neat. You can tell that the folks that are staying there for longer than 30 days take care of their campground and the surrounding area.

Nice small CG, forget about Satellite and very little local over air antenna. Verizon reception is good with the exception of Hot Spot drops every once in a while. Folks at the Outdoor Recreation are very nice and try to help. Don't know about the ladies bathroom, but the men's bathroom has no heat and the shower leaks onto the flooring which feels as though is going to cave in when you first walk in, probably due to the fact that the shower does not drain properly. I would recommend to them to use the clear area adjacent/across the CG and establish some full hook up sites so that folks can get satellite and better reception. They no longer have trash cans about and can't really blame them, there is now a dumpster which is less than 100 yards from any of the sites. Both commissary and exchange are within walking distance so is the bowling alley and gas station where they have a Shoppette (Air Force term for 7 day store). Exchange is very small, but they do have what you need. Overall a good experience. By the way, stop by the Bowling Alley during lunch, great burgers and sandwiches.

Beautiful setting for those that do not need trees around them. All sites are on a double concrete slab and the camp is very clean. Ray went out of his way to make sure that I would not have to move from my site throughout the entire stay. Sites are not reserved, as long as you have a reservation you can pull in to any available site. Ocean is right over the dunes and you can go to sleep at nite listening to the waves. It is a very quiet area considering is right off a busy street. Great satellite and Verizon reception. Will definitely be going back.

Superb campgrounds, very clean and the folks that work at the office will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable, a truck comes by each morning to pick up trash along the roads. I actually saw the lady that works there step out of her vehicle to pick up a piece of plastic someone had thrown out.If you have stationary satellite, I would not recommend staying at the Oak Area, it is a heavily tree area. The best sites are 12 and 16 in the Cedar Area and 36,37,48 and 49 at the Pine Area. Great Commissary and Exchange can be found at the main side of the Base along with many other amenities. Security on the Base is very high so make sure that everyone has ID cards and be ready to be boarded for inspection. Overall an outstanding camp.
