We stayed here on our way to Mexico. Getting to the campground takes a little as the facility in in one of the housing areas which you have to drive through, one wrong turn could be a problem. The campground has pull through and back in sites with full hookups. Each site has a picnic covered table, concrete pad, and is long enough for a 40' motorhome and toad. Services, W/E/S, are located just where they should be for minimum stretching of hoses and cords. Didn't use the showers or laundry facility but did look and found then clean. We were told that the base was expanding the campground with up to 25 more sites. We would definitely stay here again.

We were tired when we arrived but found the campground easy to get to, even though it was getting late in the day. Checked in at the office, which was closed by time we got there, and picked a spot. Well the spot I picked was a little on the tight side for my 40'er and I ran into and broke the water faucet. Went back to the office too call the emergency number listed, talked to the camp manager, whose wife had passed away that morning, did I feel bad about this time. Offered my condolences and explained what had happened. By this time the camp host arrived, offer my condolences again and turned the problem over to the camp host. We did some paperwork, insurance, drivers license, registration, and so on. Picked out another site with the hosts assistance. By time I got to my new site a CE crew had arrived and was fixing the faucet. The rest of the night went a lot better. We will be back here again if they will let us. Generally the pads are plenty big enough for a rig the size of mine, I was just tired. This is a very nice campground with very clean and well stocked facilities, there is a picnic table at each site, the sites are level concrete. The grounds were clean and nicely landscaped.

This FAMCAMP is way out in the boonies, great location. Although the base is a bit disjointed, had to go through two gates to get to BX and Commissary. The facilities were very nice, grounds were well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Access to sites was big rig friendly. We stayed in the overflow, no sewer, and found it just as nice as the full hookup sites. We were parked right next to the shower/laundry facilities. Security mad patrols runs through the camp which was comforting. Easy access to the Air Force Museum and Dayton (which we didn't have time to visit). Will definitely be staying here again when we visit Ohio again.

This FAMCAMP is out off the main base next to a small lake. Very nice. The camp is tight for big rigs navigating the camp but doable. All the sites are back in with fairly wide spaces and full hook-ups. Didn't use the facilities as we were only staying the one night, therefore the one star. Would stay here again for an extended stay to visit St.Louis. Tried to camp here on the way home but the camp was full. Stayed at the Queen's Casino for a whole lot more money.
