As we arrived before the season opened there was no host, so we dealt with the folks at the outdoor recreation office. These folks were very accommodating and helpful. The Bathhouse and Laundry were not open yet but they were putting in new washers and dryers. We paid off season rates. The only thing I could say in the negative would be the $20.00 a nite is a little high for the regular season rates. Having said that it's not really much higher than a lot of other Military campgrounds. It really is a nice little park and the MWR people are great.

Great place to stay in the middle of the woods. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Easy to find and easy to navigate. Train didn't bother us. Warning, there is no diesel fuel on the base, but plenty available in the south gate area off base.

Beautiful Park with all new concrete pads and lots of green. The laundry wasn't in full operation yet, they had just opened the park for the season. The host was in the process of getting set up and organized but was very helpful and pleasant. Cost a little more than most military parks but the surrounding area and all it offers makes up for it.

This campground has really great potential. Janet (campground mgr) is doing a great job. The recently added dog park is a model all campgounds should follow. The weekend/evening hosts, Mike and Nancy were very helpful and just super nice folks. The only hiccup was the Laundry room, dryers just didn't heat like they should. The grounds people were nice & friendly and keep the park looking very nice. With a few tons of gravel and all 50A Sites with sewer and they will have the best in the Air Force. We are looking forward to returning to Kirtland in the near future.

Our stay was very enoyable even though it did snow. I guess we can't blame it on the campground! Everyone seeemed very helpful and some more than others. The dog area was dirty at times, we picked up all the time and persons with smaller dogs didnot; may need some closer policeing. We have submitted a resume to hopefully become part of the staff to help with all our military brothers and sisters. The Fosters
