We stayed here on our return trip to Colorado Springs. This is a very nice FamCamp. Gravel roads and sites but they are very well maintained, had no problems with leveling. Sites are well spaced so that you are not on top of your neighbor Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a lot to see in the area so the next time we come we will most definitely stay longer. There was mention of Train whistles and aircraft noise, we did hear a train whistle once or twice while we were there but did not hear a single aircraft. I found it very quiet and relaxing and would recommend it to all.

Had heard from a lot of people that this was an excellent FamCamp and it most definitely is. All facilities were immaculate and the grounds were the same. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will most definitely stay here the next time we pass through El Paso. The base facilities are like no other I have seen. There is a very large Commissary and PX. The shopping area on base is like one of the new town shopping areas you see popping up across the country. Highly recommend this FamCamp to any and all that pass through El Paso.

Just wanted to add a note that there is construction going on in several locations here to include the Registration area and the rec center. To register park in the normal designated area and walk around to the back of the building to the maintenance building where the registration is temporarily located. This is as of 9 Mar 2011 and it appears that it will be going on for a while.

This was my first time to dry camp so it was a little disappointing. I was very happy with the price and I'm sure we wouldn't have gone to Key West without Sigsbee being there, since other parks are charging $100.00 a night. Location, location, location, that's the important part, and Sigsbee RV Park is great. Clean, friendly, and an awesome value. I love being retired military.

Pelican's Roost has to be one of the nicest Military FamCamps I have ever stayed at. The facility is kept immaculate and the staff is wonderful. We were on the front row and saw all types of ships, from carriers to submarines come and go during our stay. The beach is a short walk from your site and we actually found sand dollars, which we haven't found since we were kids on South Padre Island in Texas. Nice golf course, but try to schedule your tee time when the fog has lifted. We had a s 0730 tee time and found it difficult to follow the ball in flight, thankfully I was hitting the ball straight that day. The Exchange and Commissary are about 3 or 4 mile from the campsite off base but thy were absolutely one of the nicest and best stocked I have ever visited, We will most assuredly return to this FamCamp in the future!!

Well, we are here on a return visit. The weather this time of year is generally good, but we just had a front come through. Much to our chagrin we found out that they close the military beach from November to April. The main Office is under construction and we have had the office setup move twice. They have replaced most of their very comfortable Adirondack chairs with not as comfortable yard furniture. When the weather is good they will still rent the party boats to you and take you out fishing. My wife and I love this facility and will continue to return periodically.

Very nice Park, level concrete pads and patio with picnic table. Lighted hookup pedestals It says they have cable, the hookup is there, but it does not work. We found it convenient to sight see in Memphis and surrounding area. Don't miss the Peabody Ducks! We will return in the future. I would just like to say that I have to agree with a number of the posters and say that it does seem like MWR is starting to charge more than the local Passport America camps, Why??

Great RV site. We arrived on the 14th of March and left the day they were supposed to open the new sites. I believe there are about 15 or so new full hookup sites with 50 Amp service. They are all brand new level concrete pads with easy access to the utilities. Great staff, very helpful. We will probably stay longer next year.
