The park is in an industrial area. Can be noisy with the trains and trucks, plus the machinery at the dog food plant. Sites are small. Most are back to back, but they have put in about 10 pull thrus which are nice. We used it as a staging area to visit Yosemite National Park. Only has a small shoppette. It is a good bargain for a short stop over. Bob and Wanda are very nice and helpful. Didn't use any facilities, so can't rate. We would stop again.

The previous comments about Monterey Pines are true. It is a great area. Lots to see and do. The golf course is really nice with a great club house. The park itself could use some updating. Some sites are tight and not level. Not many sites for big rigs, but you can make it work. Great place to collect golf balls. Picked up 25 in the park during our stay. Park backs up to the course. It is a nice park to stay in for seeing all the local sites. It is a beautiful area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

This is a Navy Air Facility. It is in the middle of no where. Flat and dusty. It is a nice laid back base. Has mostly everything you would want on base. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is a snow bird base, which many are in this part of the US. Everyone was friendly. Close to Mexico . If you want to save some money, this is the place, but have been told very hot in the summer. Nice stop over, but we did stay several days. Would stop again.

A nice RV park. The last reviewer is correct. You have to pay attention when you turn into the parking lot. A lot of people mistake the laundry/restroom building for the office, but it is across the parking lot in the picnic area. Has a nice area for kids, pool, grassy area, playground, etc. No exchange or commissary. All are at the area bases. The golf course is great. Great club house and a great place for lunch. The other info about the part given by other reviewers are true. The location is great, but the cost value is not there, except for the location.

It is a great campground. Large sites with a lot of space between sites. Has a great pond. Staff very friendly and helpful. Has restrooms with showers and laundry (free). Not anything going on at the campground. Very quiet place to stay. Army post is about 2 miles away with all amenities. About 25 miles to Savannah. Big value for the cost. They accept Golden Age Passes.

Is a great RV park on Lake Moultrie. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The lake is beautiful. Sunsets match Key West. It is a ways out from Charleston, SC, but for the money you can't find a better place. Has sites by the lake and in the woods. Sites by the lake have cable. Has a little store that has most things you need. Has a boat dock with rentals available. Has a laundry room available. Everything was well kept. Would stay here again.

Spent 7 days here. Has appx 16 RV sites with over flow. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Has 50 amp with water and sewer. Nice private showers and rest rooms. Showers and restroom are together and you can locked the door. Also has clean laundry room, two washers and dryers. Base is small. It is between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. Lots to do around the area. Love it and would stay here again.
