Excellent campground, well kept, rules enforced, with exceptionally clean bathrooms. Mr. Kenny McCune the manager is a gem! No matter how busy, he takes time to know his guests. He's a wealth of information on local eateries, how to get to New Orleans via the free ferry, and amenities on base. The WiFi is the best I've experienced in 3 years of full time RVing. Very powerful and unlimited use. Only drawback is the command still requires base stickers which are not being issued anymore at most military bases. I was allowed to proceed to the campground, but the next day needed the usual documents to get a temporary sticker. Easy enough but can be a surprise if expecting entry based on only a military ID card. Folks at base security were polite and helped with the process. Be careful arriving at night as the turn into the campground has two small entrances separated by a huge drainage ditch. Wouldn't want anyone to suffer that "sinking feeling". One of the top 5 military campgrounds I have visited.

Stayed only one night but will return. Truly the best military RV campground I have visited to date. Only drawback location is in the middle of an industrial part of the base. A bit of an eyesore. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and polite. Bathrooms are super clean. It's just down the road from Las Vegas Speedway and of course the "strip". There are walking paths being installed. It's a great place for an early evening walk. We had no problems with water pressure. A PX Shopette with gas pumps is about half mile away. Base itself is awesome.

Very nice, clean campground. The bathrooms were immaculate. The Park Manager, Carlina, found us a week long camping site even though the park was full due to motorcycle races at Laguna Seca. She also holds two free passes to the Monterey Acquarium which is awesome. A very caring staff. Only eyebrow raiser is the cost. There are other state owned campgrounds in the area such as Big Sur but they tend to fill up in summer. Airport noise was not a factor for us. WiFi was OK at the site but excellent in the golf club house. Wish cable tv was available. Overall a great experience and we'll be back. Oh yeah, if you like golf this is the place for you. Just step out your RV door!
