The newest Recreational Housing Rental Instruction for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket is available as a separate download. This instruction includes a weighted lottery system for determining reservations. The weighted lottery system is for each week with more than one reservation request; Active duty applicant names will be entered into the pool 3 times, Reservists and National Guard Members will be entered into the pool 2 times and all other eligible MWR patrons will be entered into the pool 1 time. These names will then be jumbled and a single name selected. With the limited resources of only one house on each island available to us, this weighted system was necessary to allow all MWR patrons a chance to reserve a vacation week. The lottery system is designed to give active duty members an improved edge over other MWR patrons. However, ALL patrons will have a fair chance at obtaining a reservation. There is also a new time line to follow for reservation submissions. During summer peek season (Jun - Aug) reservation requests will be accepted for minimum stay of seven nights. All reservations will be Friday to Friday.

Campground Information
Rental rates is based on time of season. The Nantucket house is a ranch style house with 3-bedrooms and 2 full baths. Maximum occupancy is 10. Living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa, chair, 19in TV, and VCR. The kitchen has a table and chairs and all major appliances including, microwave, coffeemaker, washer, and dryer.
Gorgeous vacation rental located on Martha's Vineyard and another rental on Nantucket. Getting a reservation is accomplished by lottery. No camping or RV sites.
