I tried to register with trike talk today, but I didn't receive the auto-response email needed to finish registering. Nana sent me a message that I can't reply to telling her I didn't get the email. Is there a way that you can let her know this and have her send another auto-response email so I can finish registering?

I am making preparations for attending Mardi Gras in the Big Easy. From there I will be headed to Datona for Bike Week. No timetable to follow and lots of time for adventurous detours and side stops to visit friends and sample cuisine. Whole adventure and return to CA will take about 8 weeks or so. By then it should get warm again. Woof.

I would say that I feel our pain with the weather....but I'd be a liar. The San Diego area stays pretty nice year 'round. I did have to put some metal pieces I was using paint stripper on out in the direct sun to get them warm enough to make the stripper activate better. I am looking forward to seeing your rig though. My dad tinkered quite a bit with different trailers so I've always had an interest in building/rebuilding/remodeling.

Martin, I've got the before pics, but a littlw lax in the inprogress ones. I'll get some taken and try to post them. Right now its 20 degrees here in Missouri, so I've not done too much in the last week. About the only thing left is to put the laminate on the countertop and install a few more tiedowns. The laminate will have to wait for a warm spell

Welcome Ron and Joyce. Are you documenting the conversion with some pictures? It would be pretty interesting. I've seen a few conversions and always find it interesting on the different approaches people take....some a geared more toward being strictly "functional" while a couple others had a good grasp on the funtion but were geared more toward "comfort".

Hi all, I just found this website. We are getting ready to go to Florida. We bought a cargo trailer and are converting it to a toy hauler, complete with bunks and a galley area. I added a Lock'N'Load wheel chock, it seems to work well, We currently ride a 2004 BMW K1200LT. This will be our first trip as a trailer queen. We normally ride everywhere. Planning on staying at Keeser Famcamp acouple of days and then maybe Tyndall. Happy riding to all Ron and Joyce
