I'm a multi-service member. My initial service, from 1982 to 1989 was Army. I took about a 6 1/2 year break, joined the ARNG in April '96, went onto to ADSW status May '86, switched to ANG in Dec '97 (keeping my ADSW status) and took that out until retirement on 1 April 2009 where I was retired officially as USAF.
