We stayed here Jun 16-30, 2013. The 40 sites on the west side of the park are closed for an electrical system upgrade/rebuild. The contractor has laid the new conduit, pulled most on the new wiring and is installing new electric boxes. We were told the scheduled contract completion date is 9/5/13 but staff is hoping for early completion. After electrical work new gravel will laid on roads & sites disrupted for the new conduit. Staff is hoping to reopen area in time for USAFA Parents Weekend Aug 29 thru Labor Day. North Gate inbound restriction due to bridge work continues; RV's are to use South Gate entry.
